Featured Wineries PARALLEL 44 VINEYARD & WINERY N2185 Sleepy Hollow Road Who We Are: We
welcome you to join us at Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery located
just 18 miles from Green Bay in beautiful Kewaunee County, near the
western shore of Lake Michigan. The 44th parallel is that line of
latitude that runs across the globe
from Green Bay to Kewaunee through Bordeaux, France and Tuscany, Italy,
which are the world's finest wine regions. At Parallel 44 Vineyard
& Winery, you will explore nearly nine acres of vineyards
planted with French hybrid grapes and enjoy our Italian inspired winery
and tasting room. This family-owned and operated vineyard and winery
will transport you to our European counterparts along the 44th
parallel. Established 2005. CHATEAU St. CROIX WINERY & VINEYARD Who We Are: While
the harsh Wisconsin winters may not seem suitable for grape-growing,
the climate and soil are surprisingly forgiving. In fact, grapes are
already growing in the vineyards of Chateau St. Croix. The vineyard is
home to six varieties of hybrid cold hearty grapes: St. Croix, E.S.
6-16-30, Prairie Star, Sabrevois, Frontenac and King of the North. The
grapes have been delicately planted on a 2 1/2-acre parcel on the
55-acre grounds of the Chateau St. Croix. DOOR PENINSULA WINERY Who We Are: Door
Peninsula Winery is well known for fruit and sweet/semi-sweet wines,
like the award-winning Sweet Cherry, Razzle Dazzle Raspberry and
Panacea Peach. Acclaimed wine enthusiasts are becoming more familiar
with Door Peninsula's premium grape wine offerings like the traditional
stylings of Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay. Wine produced by Door
Peninsula Winery is often described as food friendly and palate
friendly. Even the traditional grape wine offerings amaze their tasters
with a refreshingly soft, minimal oak finish. | |
