Website: thousandislandswinery.com

Who We Are: The Thousand Islands Winery is located in Jefferson County, New York.  It is the most northern winery in New York State. The winery is located on a farm that was built in 1836. The farm was later owned and operated by Captain Massey and his wife Ida in the 1930's. Captain Massey was a famous Riverboat Captain. He owned a huge Great Lake Vessel that he eventually sold to the Department of Defense for the war effort during World War II.

Steve and Erika Conaway purchased the Farm in December 2002. Upon Steve's retirement from the military, they decided to create a winery in Alexandria Bay, NY.

The Massey legacy of quality lives on today. Although the horses and cattle are no longer a part of the farm, agriculture continues in the form of Viticulture. We believe are wines are second to none. Please stop by and experience the hospitality of our staff and taste our award winning wines.

Who We Are: Whitecliff Vineyard sits on 70 acres opposite the Shawangunk Mountain chain located west of the Hudson River (near New Paltz) and 80 miles north of New York City. Today, we're using the latest techniques in vineyard management and enology to bring the best in European wine grape varieties back to this historic area. Whitecliff is working with European vinifera varietals such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Riesling, and quality hybrids like Seyval Blanc and Vignoles, including a significant planting of Pinot Noir. And we are pioneering use of Gamay Noir grape in the Hudson Valley for a Beaujolais Villages and a true Beaujolais-style Nouveau.
