RENAULT WINERY RESORT

72 N. Breman Ave.
Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215

Phone: (609) 965-2111
Website: renaultwinery.com

Who We Are: Our winery has been in existence for over 140 years. We currently grow thirteen different types of grapes on site consisting of several Varietals and American Hybrids. The winery also has two adjacent sites for its own “blueberries” that are set along an area within the golf course. Our vineyard personnel have recently completed the planting of several thousands of propagation cuttings. The different cuttings are from various trimmed vines from December 2007, and they will be typically used to increase our existing vineyards in the upcoming years.

Renault’s vineyards were originally located here because of the climate that is close to the ocean and the sand-laiden soil that produced excellent drainage. Our vineyards continue to thrive at our location, with some Noah vines currently well over forty years old. The vineyards are spread across over eight locations on the property. The entire Renault site encompasses over 1500 acres.

VALENZANO WINERY

1320 Old Indian Mills Road
Shamong, NJ 08088

Phone: 609-268-6731
Website: valenzanowine.com

Who We Are: Tony Valenzano, Sr. was a wine making hobbyist, planting vines and growing grapes since the early 1990s on our seven acre farm at 340 Forked Neck Road in Shamong -- right in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. That hobby has grown into one of the Garden State’s most prominent wineries. Family and friends began to enjoy Tony Valenzano Sr.’s creations and, in 1996, Valenzano Winery became a licensed winery. The initial year, less than 500 gallons of wines were produced at the initial Shamong location, and a few accounts were opened with local fine wine stores. Since then, we’ve expanded from one to three locations.
