Last Chance Winery was established in 2004 to create Nebraska wine with
an 'old west' flair. Making wine in Nebraska is unlike anywhere else
because of the types of grapes grown here in the heartland. SOARING WINGS WINERY Who We Are: We
are a family run operation at Soaring Wings. The land was purchased in
2001. The history of the land goes way back. Many Indian artifacts have
been found on the land and it is suspected that it was the site of an
Indian settlement or encampment. In the 1800's farming operations began
on the land. Operations in the Vineyard began in March of 2002 with
winery operations commencing in August of 2003.
North Dakota MAPLE RIVER WINERY P.O. Box 188 Casselton, ND 58012 Phone: (701) 347-5900 Website: mapleriverwinery.com Who We Are: How did that happen? Everyone seems to ask that. Maple River Winery was registered with the Secretary of State in North Dakota on March 19, 2001. Over 5 years ago!!!! Our focus was to utilize North Dakota fruit in making traditional wines in small batches like our ancestors did. Many people have visited our winery with stories about their parents and how they would make wine. After sampling our chokecherry or rhubarb wine, every now and then we will see a tear in their eye...."This is just like my mother used to make it." is a common statement we experience. Our craftsmanship and respect for our heritage has earned us numerous recognitions throughout the United States. • Wine Tasting • Wine Tour • Wine Shop
